About Me

My photo
I love to paint and draw. I am an avid listener of music and have my own (slightly morbid) interpretation to everything. Example: many horror movies either make me laugh or completely fascinate me.

Honey and Sunshine Rolls Recipie (makes about 24)

You will need:
8-11 cups of flour
6 Tbs yeast
1/2 cup of sugar
1 Tbs salt
3 1/2 cups warm water
1 cup oil
3 eggs
vanilla (optional)
3 sticks butter
honey (to taste...I used an entire little bear shaped bottle)
1 cup powdered sugar
large mixing bowl
mixing spoons
2 13-by-9 inch pans

1. Mix 4 cups flour, yeast, sugar and salt. Add water, oil, eggs and vanilla (optional); beat throughly for 5-10 minutes.
2. Allow to rise for 5-10 minutes; add up to 6 1/2 cups flour. Mix well.
3. Knead on floured board 5 times.
4. Pour 1/2 cup melted butter per pan; spread over entire pan.
5. Drop apple sized balls of dough into pans (12 per pan).
6. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes; pull rolls apart upon pulling from the oven.
7. Melt remaining butter, honey, and 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Mix well.
8. Pour honey mixture over rolls (I separated the rolls into 3 pans so they would absorb the mixture more easily.)
9. Sprinkle powdered sugar over rolls.
10. Allow to set for about 15-20 minutes to allow the rolls to absorb the honey mixture.
11. Enjoy!!! ^.^
***Note: Best enjoyed warm.***

Early to rise...

Just woke up again; wide awake. Lame. I hate sleepless nights.
Think I'll go bake some yummies for breakfast. ^.^
I love cooking. It's ridiculous.

Agenda for tonight:
Watch Paranormal Activity/Paranormal Activity 2 with Jen.
...I think we are masochists. The first one scared us pretty bad.

Babe with the Power...

Just had the most AMAZING, FANTASTIC night with some stellar individuals helping one of my best friends do a photo shoot! It was beautiful, dirty, gritty, lovely, and everything else a production like this should be! Everyone (the model more than anyone else) worked their asses off with their designated jobs (and probably will be sneezing coal-dust for the next week). The owner of the building where we shot was spectacular, the photographer was fun, and I think the moral support did a pretty bad-ass job as well (if I do say so myself *teehee*). And the model...oh my hell! She worked her butt off for about 6 hours and did anything asked of her. OH MY FREAK...!!! She was...gah...! There's not even a word for what she was! Combine gorgeous, sexy, adventurous, confident, witty, natural, dirty, gritty, amazing and a trooper all in one person!

If these photos don't go far with their original purpose, I am losing all respect for whoever is making the final selections.
